Hope people can help. I’ve been asked to compile questionnaire for drug/alcohol users who are looking to get back into training or employment. I would be grateful for any ideas and assistance given, thank you. Omnipeta.

I'd like to help, but I am finding it difficult to understand just what you want.

Is the questionnaire to identify what kind of work/training they want? Or is it identify what problems they think they mave have or have experienced in getting work/training?

Or have I missed the point completely?

Hi Jim, thanks for taking the time to reply.
It is to try and identify what problems they think they may have or have experienced in the past in relation to getting work or training?
Sincerely, omnipeta.

Have you tried 'Progress 2 Work' they do that type of thing and are really helpful round our way. No point reinventing the wheel when you can crib a bit

Getting back into work, would that exclude people who have never worked. I do think many drug users would benefit from employment coaching as, I often feel far to much emphisis is placed on the emotional counselling interventions to the detriment of confidence bulding and employment/community development.
