hello everyone!!

i have just got the go ahead to be able to do supplementary prescribing - but i am the only one that can in my team! and i dont know were to start. Do i have to have a three way meeting with the service user and the independent prescriber to agree or can it be agreed separately because due to my case load i will not be able to sit in all the medical assessments ( to be honest i will only be able to sit in with the doctor with the service users i work with and to organise a medical review will take a while?

Hi Steve,
We get the patient to see the GP the first time and then seen by Nurse or Pharmacist prescriber for follow-up. GP does a review 3-6 monthly.
