I have done research from our practice on retention rates as a means to identify that Non-medical prescribing is safe. I think it's time that we all put our work together and wrote a paper. I would be interested to hear other peoples views on this and ideas as to what should be in such a piece of work.

I just use the NDTMS 12 week retention in treatment rates - ours are about 61%.

I will be in touch. I looked at how many patients started on either Subutex or Methadone - or had swapped from one to the other. Who dropped out and why if known. I worked out the retention at one year which from memory was 74 % so by next May i'll have two years data. |
