Black Poppy's Engaging the Community project is an innovative and free project available for local GPs, drop-ins and community groups in Lambeth. It aims to empower local community leaders, groups and individuals to find info & support to the problems experienced from drug use in their communities.


If your GP surgery, drop in, neighbourhood, faith, or support group would like to know
about the types of D&A services that are available to members of your community who have drug/alcohol problems, (or loved ones/carers) then members from Black Poppy can visit your group for an informative, relaxed discussion about local D&A services and how they can help;
provide you information packs based on the needs of your group/community, leave you with a direct phone number to advise you over the months ahead and we can bring refreshments along as well! All
without you having to leave your community centre!
