I would be grateful for distribution of this flyer to your networks.

The LGBT Health Summit is the only event of its kind in the UK. The steering group belive this is a great opportunity for TU members and TU employees to engage with LGBT issues around health in a safe environment, which is probably consistent with Diversity action plans that are so integral to the work we are all striving to achieve.

The RCN has been involved heavilly with the Summit, and RCN members will be presenting and chairing several sessions.

I would be grateful for your support in encouraging RCN staff and RCN members to attend this event.

Many people may see this as a " gay " event, its often the case that LGBT events pick up the feel that they are for the audience concerned and non LGBT people would not be welcome.

I would like to emphasise that this event is open to anyone, who simply want to know more and hear what the LGBT communities have to say.

I commend this event to yourselves, and simply add that we have asked for RCN accreditation, so I belive there will be a significant association of this event with the RCN.
