Can anyone point me to some tables of urine tests and drugs in them, mainly benzos, different opiates including dihydrocodeine and buprenorphine.

And what drug shows up just as morphine ???? ( apart from morphine ),does dhc get broken down to this.

Many Thanks
Dave

DHC, Codeine and any morphine/diamorphine/opiate will show as positive, Buprenorphine you need a separate test.
The manufactureres offer varying number of tests in a multiple strip.
The cheapest i've found are the single dipsticks from access diagnostics.

Hi Vettriano, if you mean the laboratory urine samples then it maybe worth speaking to your lab re this. Our local lab, dihydrocodeine is highlighted separately from morphine/monoacetylmorphine which are breakdown products of heroin.
As Simon says though, dhc, codeine, morphine diamorphine(heroin) tend to show as opiate positive on spot urine tests.
I'd phone the manufacturers of your spot urine test for info on how to interpret or invite your local biochemist to come and do a talk if it's the lab tests you're interested in finding more out about.

The new clinical guidelines have 3 pages devoted to urine sampling including a table of drugs and how long they stay in the urine.
Cheers

Hi Jimi I also like this but its a bit too simple, especially in times e.g. methadone 1-7 days and cannabis 7-30 days - rates like this not useful in practice - need more about it depends on dose, time been taking it etc.
Plus if negative, especially on sticks, for something that the person says they are taking believe them, repeat and send to the lab before taking further action. Then if still negative for something prescribed such as methadone check on daily dispensing. In all studies between 92-98% concordance between what people say and do take
